With over 15 years of marketing management experience, Goodwill has had the opportunity to work in some of SA’s leading industries, including a South African Top 300 company where he held the position of Group Communications Manager for many years. He has also been Trade Marketing Manager for brands such as Moet & Chandon, Dom Perignon and Hennessy. Goodwill has built a career that has focused on brand growth strategies and staff motivation. He has formulated and implemented many marketing strategies, one such strategy equated to a 700% growth
within 12 months. Goodwill’ latest passion in the Marketing World has moved to a digital focus, with Fan Engagement being his forte’. Goodwill believes that Great Content is a must-have, but he also believes that this needs to be supported by a great fan engagement plan that produces measureable data analytics. Goodwill has been privileged enough to receive more than 10 nominations for Campaigns he has worked on in the SA Sport Industry awards.
Wakule is the analytical thinker in the team. In his previous life, he built a successful career in financial markets as a stock broker at some of the world’s leading international banks (namely Citi and Credit Suisse). He has a BCom degree majoring in Corporate Finance and Investment as well as Advanced Management. He spent six years trading equities, across the globe, handling a portfolio of clients worth just under a trillion Rand in assets under management. He brings balance to the team by mixing financially savvy outlook with entrepreneurial spirit. Wakule is an analytical thinker with careful attention to detail when conceptualising strategy. Excellent management and interpersonal people skills. A team player, committed to delivering work of exceptional quality in an effective and efficient manner. With his background in financial markets, Wakule is perpetually analysing data in search of anomalies that brands can use to maximise campaigns and strategies
Laika is the inspiration behind Ideation Station. Ideation Station was launched on the 1st Of Nover 2014 in anticipation of the 57th anniversary of Laika being launched into orbit. Laika was a Soviet space dog who became one of the first animals in space, and the first animal to orbit the Earth. Ideation Station has chosen Laika as a symbol of pioneering new frontiers, and the fan engagement frontier is where we will go to ensure our fans can get the best brand experience.
